With twenty years of teaching experience and students performing at all levels of professional work, Adam is well equipped to provide instruction to all levels of singers and aspiring performers, specializing in Musical Theater performance. Trained in numerous musical styles, Adam focuses on basic vocal techniques to elicit tension-free singing from Opera to Rock. Adam’s expertise in Kinesiology and Human Anatomy (thanks to years of study in massage therapy) helps to give him a foundation in proper body use and how to treat the voice and body as a unified instrument.
In addition to his specialties, Adam is also an active voice teacher for the Transgender community. He has worked with many individuals in transition helping them to find their true voice.
Lesson rates are established with Mr Baritot before you start your education. Your lesson price is a fixed amount that will not change. Room rental of a location is added to the lesson price and the total is due at the time of your lesson. If you have not paid for a lesson, you will not be able to schedule your next session until your account has been brought up to date. There is a 48-hour cancellation policy for most lessons: lessons cancelled within 48 hours of your lesson may be charged ½ your session rate. Lessons cancelled on the same day may be charged the full price of service

Most voice coachings and lessons occur at Ripley-Grier Studios at 520 Eighth Avenue in Manhattan. Housecalls and lessons outside of Manhattan are booked on a case-by-case basis. Travel costs may be included depending on the distance travelled. Please contact Adam for more details.
